AOL looks to spiff up its Web 2.0 image yet again with the announcement today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Bebo.
I am not sure that this dial up carrier realizes, that in order for them to get in to the game they have to get out of their way and be the AOL we first launched in the early 1990s – moreover why have they not evolved the most powerful brand asset they have??? AIM.
I ponder if that culture of innovation can ever be recaptured.
