I came across this well thought out, on-line diagramming tool. It allows you to chart out UML, flowcharts, networking, floorplans, etc. One cool feature is that the diagrams you create can be saved online in a free account.
You have to wonder how long this will be free as some of these can beginning to build terobytes of data for the company Gliffy. I thought the publishing capabilities to the web, printed or output to SVG, JPEG or PNG formats all done in Flash 7.
Visit http://www.gliffy.com to see this great application

Thanks for the recco. The reason I liked Gliffy as we were looking at crowdsouring a build – so the public plans were perfect.
I signed up for Gliffy, however, I did not do much diagramming once I saw that my diagrams would be published online without my permission – poor security model.
I am currently checking out Lucidchart and http://www.drawanywhre.com
