Joanna Peña-Bickley, trailblazing design executive and pioneer in AI aided, generative design moves to make mobility magic at Uber
New York, NY -- July 18, 2022 -- (DESIGNEDBYUS.ORG) Uber Technologies, Inc. hired award winning, design executive Joanna Peña-Bickley as Director, Product Design UberEats / Delivery. Joanna will lead the vision and customer experience design for the Delivery organization which includes the UberEats app, Consumer, Membership, Grocery, New Verticals, Merchants, Direct and Advertising experiences.
Peña-Bickley brings 25-years of experience building award-winning, global design organizations that invent and create customer experiences that deliver business results. Joanna’s track record of designing Alexa devices and experiences at Amazon, building intelligent mobility platforms for General Motors and autonomous delivery robots with the Design Corps makes her uniquely suited to lead and accelerate Uber’s growth into grocery, convenience, alcohol and additional verticals.
